As the countdown to the 126th edition of Fieracavalli has already begun, and the Verona-based exhibition, at the invitation of MASAF (Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry), is preparing to make a stop at the G7 Agriculture and Fisheries “Divination Expo 2024,” scheduled for Sept. 21-29 in Ortigia.
This will be an opportunity to show the public in attendance how the horse, a symbol of ancient traditions, can still promote our country’s cultural heritage and breeding system while keeping historical roots alive and enhancing the territory.
Over the two weekends, Fieracavalli has organized a rich program of activities, including shows and demonstrations, to allow everyone to approach this animal in an ethical and natural way: starting with saddle christening to equestrian performances designed to explain the characteristics of different breeds-with a special focus on native breeds-and ending with an equestrian show that, thanks to performances by important Sicilian equestrian artists, will celebrate music and traditions of Sicilian culture.
