Yesterday evening at the Pala Volkswagen, on the occasion of the opening evening of the 124th edition of Fieracavalli, Gessica Notaro, a well-known face from the world of show business, played the role of godmother of the HORSE FRIENDSHIP award, instituted by Fieracavalli in memory of the journalist of Il Venerdì di Repubblica, Federica Lamberti Zanardi, a great friend of the event, who recently passed away.
“I am very honoured to have acted as godmother to honour Federica’s memory. The evening went very well, an evening with great guests, a great event done with the heart, as it should be.” – these are Gessica’s words.
The man-horse relationship is the theme at the centre of this award ceremony, which saw Gessica testify to the recognition that Fieracavalli has for Federica and all the people who know how to convey to the general public on a daily basis the precious relationship that can bind man and horse.
A precious relationship that Gessica herself tells us: ‘when we talk about the welfare of horses, I like to emphasise that we must take care of these wonderful animals, give them as much attention as possible, because it is horses that do us good, without us realising it, they are present every day and are there for us in the difficult moments of life… just a little bit of carrots and feed is enough to pay them and they work much better than psychologists’.
