To celebrate the 50th anniversary of its foundation, the Gruppo Italiano Attacchi (GIA) returned to Fieracavalli with a series of events dedicated to enthusiasts of vintage carriages, and to offer the little ones a dream moment with the traditional “carriage christening.”
Historically, GIA has organized and promoted events and competitions related to the world of horse-drawn carriages. At Fieracavalli, the group continues to bring the public closer to the history and tradition of these elegant vehicles, offering an experience that today is considered a true journey through time.
Emanuela Brumana, President of the Group, shared:
“In addition to the competitions, we are also committed to promoting the charm of carriages, making a centuries-old tradition accessible to people of all ages, especially children, who have the chance to ride in historic carriages for the first time and experience an emotion that is hard to find elsewhere. On Thursday and Friday, hundreds of children boarded for their ‘carriage christening,’ accompanied by expert drivers who ensured the safety of all the little passengers. It was an extraordinary success, with such high participation that we had to increase the number of carriages to meet all the requests. The tradition of carriages represents a fundamental part of Italian history and culture. Always a symbol of elegance and refinement, they have also witnessed crucial moments in our history, and thanks to these initiatives, the Gruppo Italiano Attacchi works to preserve and pass on this tradition to future generations.”
