Present for the second edition of “Sapori di Razza,” chef Alessandro Borghese awarded the winners of the second edition. During his tour through the pavilions, the chef also met his friend Joe Bastianich, who, until now, was not familiar with the world of horses. However, after bringing his project “Joe’s American BQ Smash & Lab” – winner, among other things, of the Sapori di Razza Best Food 2023 award – he became very fascinated by the elegance and beauty of these splendid animals.
This year, the fair also hosted numerous social activities related to horses, supported by important figures. Examples include #ridetorise, Equiama and Silvia Villa’s project, which on Saturday morning welcomed the godmother Maria Grazia Cucinotta – already engaged with her association “Vite senza paura ONLUS” in the fight against violence against women. Another noteworthy initiative is “Ri.Abilitiamoci,” which, in addition to Nicole Berlusconi, involves the participation of Vanni Oddera, the freestyle motocross rider, a champion of stunts at a height of 10 meters. He dedicates his time to the rehabilitation of fragile individuals and brought Riccardo, one of the youths he helps, into the honor ring of Pavilion 8.
Not to be forgotten is the presence and testimony of Gessica Notaro, who introduced the extensive audience of the event to the Puzzilli Foundation and the “Agata” project, which involves actions to combat and provide concrete assistance to women victims of violence.
On Friday, Antonella Clerici also made her entrance to the fair, as did Veronica Maya, presenter of the second Celebration Dinner dedicated to inclusion through work for Fieracavalli, along with Radio Monte Carlo speaker Maurizio Di Maggio. For the only Italian stop of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM, Alessandro Tommasi (Will Italia), Veronica Lario, and Eleonora Berlusconi were also present.
