Among the delights to be presented at the Fair, local specialties will take center stage, featuring a culinary program that embraces the entire Italian boot: from Trentino to Sicily, passing through Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, Puglia, and Basilicata. Among these is the Mandorlato di Cologna Veneta, a unique sweet that celebrates 40 years of history.
The mandorlato has always been one of the most beloved desserts in the Veronese tradition, symbolizing festivity and conviviality during Christmas. This year, the Festa del Mandorlato in Cologna Veneta celebrates a unique product that turns 40, making the event even more special: it will present the sweet to the Fieracavalli audience in two versions: classic and warm, the latter served gooey inside a waffle ready to be tasted. The producers themselves—present throughout the four days of the Fair—will offer the warm product directly from the last stage of processing, where the almonds are mixed to create an irresistible consistency.
Another stand not to be missed is that of L’Antico Granaio, a pasta factory specialized in producing pasta, legumes, and snacks typical of Puglia and Basilicata, bringing the authentic flavor of tradition.
The pasta factory offers a wide selection of pasta shapes made with high-quality and unique ingredients, such as burnt wheat, lemon, broccoli rabe, and crunchy peppers. There are also irresistible snacks, from handmade taralli to fried salted fava beans, perfect for those seeking a taste of Southern Italy. With its stand, L’Antico Granaio is a must-visit stop for all festival attendees.
We look forward to seeing you from November 7 to 10 at Veronafiere!
