Fieracavalli is an extraordinary opportunity for sharing passion for the equestrian world – as well as a chance to discover, through horses – the centuries-old ambassadors of local areas – the beauty and variety of Italy’s rural resources.
This is the background to the Exhibition of Rural Tourism and Typical Produce – an area in Hall 1 featuring the finest Italian food and wine products as a true expression of the unique heritage of our local areas.
From north to south by way of the islands, visitors will have the chance to get to know many Italian specialities: artisan cured meats and hams from Tuscany, to pork cheek and sausage from Norcia together with delicious truffle nibbles representing Umbria, down to Apulia with more than 35 types of handmade taralli, friselle Gravinesi (crispbread) and organic extra virgin olive oil – the green gold of the lower Salento area. People with most curious palates will also have the opportunity to taste different types of meat from Campania and regional pastas prepared with short-chain ingredients directly from Basilicata. The journey into Italian taste then continues in Sicily with caponata, 100% natural citrus jams and Bronte DOP green Pistachio nuts, without forgetting Sardinia, with a selection of high quality fish products prepared with traditional local recipes. Well-being is in the forefront with Latium, revealing natural supplements prepared from a blend of pure and high quality herbs as well as the beneficial properties of Aloe juice.
Enjoy getting to know all Italy’s typical specialities – region by region – at Fieracavalli 9-12 November 2023.
