In advance of other nations’ registrations and the ‘dead line’ set in October 25, the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation this afternoon announced the names of the athletes who make up the official representative team for the Italian leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™.
Show jumping fans and the warm audience of Jumping Verona will be able to applaud Giulia Martinengo Marquet, the only lady rider of Team Italy, Emanuele Gaudiano, Piergiorgio Bucci, the Under 25 Giacomo Casadei, Lorenzo De Luca and Alberto Zorzi. Also summoned with them are Paolo Paini and the stainless veteran Arnaldo Bologni , who returns to compete in the Fieracavalli International after his last appearance in 2007.
However, both will have to qualify in the field to participate in the World Cup Grand Prix on Sunday, November 10.
Also summoned without access to the Grand Prix, finally, is Filippo Bassan making his World Cup debut in Verona.
