There are great expectations for the start of the Italian Champions Tour, the first national team show jumping circuit that on Friday 12 April at the Arezzo Equestrian Centre will inaugurate its fourth season. Four stages in four different regions will see 28 teams compete in the grand final scheduled during the126th Fieracavalli in Verona 7-10 November 2024.
This year, the traditional SPORTS circuit involving 16 teams and 70 national and international pairs for a total prize fund of €270,000 will be joined – for the first time – by the PRO circuit exclusively for riders of all ages holding 1st and 2nd degree certificates. They will compete over the same ring as the great champions at heights of 1.15m and 1.30m, for total prize money amounting to €30,000.
After the stage in Arezzo, it will be the turn 24-25 May for the event in Piazza di Siena in Rome. The tour then moves on to the Horse Riviera Resort in San Giovanni in Marignano over the weekend of 25-26 October and come to its conclusion with the grand final in Verona, scheduled 7-10 November during the 126th Fieracavalli – the most important event on the international equestrian scene.
In addition, the Italian Champions Tour further strengthens the bond between sport and business, thanks to the important partners involved in this edition: from Yamaha to Oerlikon AMOM, Equitatus and Quick.it, through to Italpreziosi and UnionBio Soluzione Natura. Kask, on the other hand, will be the circuit’s Official Safety Partner.
