Today marked the conclusion of the third stage of the Italian Champions Tour, which, for two days, saw 16 Sport teams and 12 Pro teams compete in the arena of the Horses Riviera Resort in San Giovanni in Marignano in high-stakes competitions.
EFG Italia triumphed in the Sport category, while Victor Handmade Pro claimed victory in the Pro category during this Romagna event.
The Sport category, featuring some of the best Italian and European riders, provided the audience with a thrilling weekend that culminated today with the victory of the EFG Italia team. The extraordinary performances of Jörne Sprehe riding Starlinda and Antonia Vita Pinardi on Inostello M allowed team manager Giovanni Addessi to raise the stage trophy, surpassing Gioelli Crivelli, who finished second with 28 points. The third and fourth places went to Co.Ge Srl – with Federico Formentini riding Woscinton Good Bye and Matteo Zamana on Captain Conner – and Banca Del Fucino Las Helmet, with rider Luca Coatae and amazone Sofia Manzetti on Holly Del Rilate and Fiolita, respectively. Givova closed in fifth place with 24 points.
In the brand-new Pro circuit, reserved for riders of all ages holding a first or second degree license, team manager Paolo Bindi’s choice to field the father-daughter pair – consisting of Marco Debolini on Chespin Dell’Al.Ca.De and Beatrice Debolini on S.M Conalta – proved to be a winning strategy, leading the Victor Handmade Pro team to victory with a total of 22 points. Dex Pro took second place, with performances by Ludovica Meschini on Gino Las Vegas S and William Furlini on Harly V, followed by the EJ Givova Pro team, featuring riders Donato Cappetta and Andrea Cantiani on Flying Dutchman and Biber. Co.Ge Srl Pro and The Flying Grimaldi Pro secured the fourth and fifth positions, both with 16 points.
The overall rankings at the conclusion of this stage are now updated as follows: in the Sport circuit, Team Poggi leads with 75 points, followed by Gruppo Selleria Equipe and EFG Italia with 69 and 67 points, respectively. In the Pro circuit, Dex Pro is currently at the top of the podium with 51 points, closely pursued by the Co.Ge Srl Pro team, which stands at 50 points, and three teams tied at 49 points: Horo Pro, EJ Givova Pro, and Victor Handmade Pro.
To find out who will be crowned the winner in both circuits, the event not to be missed is at Fieracavalli, where the grand finale of the fourth edition of the Italian Champions Tour will take place.
