Once again this year Jumping Verona offers show jumping fans a rich sports program articulated around national and, above all, international competitions.
Indeed, the flagship is the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™, now in its 22nd edition with 2023 at Fieracavalli, with three days of competitions of the highest technical and competitive profile.
After the horse inspection and warm-up on the opening day on Thursday, Nov. 9, the CSI5*-W has seven categories scheduled from Friday to Sunday with a total prize pool of 436,300 euros, including as much as 190,000 for the World Cup Grand Prix alone.
It starts on Friday, 10, with three ‘five-star’ trials: the Prize No. 1 presented by Prestige – two-stage special category (h. 1.45), the Prize No. 2 presented by Banca Passadore – timed category (h. 150) and the Prize No. 3 presented by KASK – mixed category (h. 155), which with the endowment of 55,000 euros is the most important trial of the day.
Two, however, races are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, November 11, Prize No. 4 presented by Franco Tucci – timed category (h. 150) opens, followed by Prize No. 5 presented by Crivelli (h. 155) – winning round category with as much as 100,000 euros up for grabs.
Grand finale on Sunday, November 12 (2:30 p.m.) with the Longines FEI World Cup™ Grand Prix presented by Scuderia 1918 endowed with 190,000 euros in prize money, preceded in the morning by Prize No. 6 presented by Selleria Equipe – points category (h. 145).
