The 126th edition of Fieracavalli concludes today, drawing 140,000 visitors and industry professionals to Verona over four days, further confirming its widespread appeal among horse lovers, athletes, and sector professionals alike. Attendees represented 73 countries, an increase from 60 in 2023, underscoring the event’s growing international scope.
The 128,000-square-meter exhibition space, spread across 12 halls and 6 outdoor areas, showcased the “pure beauty” of 2,200 horses representing 60 different breeds. The commercial offerings included 700 exhibitors from 25 countries and 35 breeding associations. With a robust incoming campaign in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), top buyers from Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Chile, Hong Kong, and the UAE attended, joined by 600 professionals from Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia. The event’s lineup of over 200 activities, including shows, conferences, competitions, and sports events, was well-received by the public, demonstrating Fieracavalli’s ability to highlight every aspect of the equestrian world.
“This remarkable achievement reflects a collective commitment and the efforts of an entire team united by passion and professionalism,” said Veronafiere President Federico Bricolo. “With Fieracavalli, we continue to support a sector that represents over 3 billion euros in national economic value, while also promoting values of sport, inclusion, and participation. Special thanks go to the attending institutions, ministers Lollobrigida, Locatelli, and Abodi, as well as undersecretaries La Pietra and Rauti, who visited Verona, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), FEI and FISE associations, the Veneto Region, and the City of Verona, as well as the local businesses and all enthusiasts who have been the heart of Fieracavalli for 126 editions.”
“At Fieracavalli, once again, sport has taken center stage as an equestrian sector highlight,” stated Veronafiere CEO Maurizio Danese. “This year, we hosted the only Italian leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ for the 23rd edition, which sold out with 10,000 spectators over the weekend, as well as the national finals of the Italian Champions Tour, the 126th Grand Prix, FISE competitions, and the Westernshow events. We are also proud to have introduced the formation of the first-ever Jumping Verona Racing Team, a team of five Italian riders who will represent the official colors of Fieracavalli in competitions across Europe.”
“With Fieracavalli, we preserve an evolving passion for horses, as does the event format itself, which has become a flagship brand in Veronafiere’s portfolio,” commented Veronafiere’s General Director Adolfo Rebughini. “The attendance figures from these days illustrate an active and growing community of enthusiasts who regard Fieracavalli as a key occasion to reconnect, meet colleagues, conduct business, and enjoy the spectacle—both sporting and otherwise—that horses offer.”
