We are very pleased to announce that Art&Cavallo is starting a new partnership with international equestrian art gallery – Paard Verzameld Gallery (Amsterdam).
Paard Verzameld Gallery was founded in 2016 by equine art curator Joyce Ter Horst, as a loving tribute to one exceptional horse. Paard Verzameld Gallery presents curated equine art by a diverse group of international established and emerging artists.
Paard Verzameld started as an online platform on which equine artists and art enthusiasts can meet. As a memorial tribute to her own horse, Joyce Ter Horst posted artworks on Facebook, praised the artist and made sure that the outside world started to take equine art seriously. In almost six years, Paard Verzameld has gained more than a quarter of a million followers on Facebook and Instagram. In 2017 Joyce Ter Horst started, as a spin-off, an artist collective of more than a hundred international, renowned and emerging artists.
In her online gallery she represents about 25 artists from the Netherlands, the US, Canada, Australia, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Poland, Finland and Sweden. Ter Horst herself lives in North Holland and attended the School of Arts in England.
Joyce Ter Horst will take part as a jury member in the Art&Cavallo assessment committee this year and will offer the artists’ works through its online gallery. At the equestrian event, visitors can easily indicate via a QR code whether they are interested in a work.
Thanks to this collaboration, we believe to create more international appearance of Art&Cavallo this year.
