Thanks to the morphological and aptitudinal characteristics of over 250 examples, 7 breeds in the Stud Book and 16 populations in the Official Registry, Italy is the country with the most biodiversity in the world even for horses. This great heritage of the Italian regions can be found in Hall 10, organized in collaboration with AIA-Italian Breeders’ Association.
Every year, this Hall proves to be one of the most popular in the entire show and Italian Shire Horses in turn are one of the best-loved “home” breeds thanks to their historical links with Fieracavalli.
The two rings will host the 81st National Breed Exhibition: an opportunity to admire Italian Shire Horses in all their versatility while equally highlighting their biodiversity.
