Gi.A.DA., a social promotion association founded by a group of women from Verona to promote women’s health and raise awareness about the importance of prevention in support of cancer patients, is participating in the 126th edition of Fieracavalli.
A collaboration between the association, Atelier Emè, and Equestrian Show will bring to life the project “A Fashion Show for Solidarity” tonight at the Pala Jumping, featuring the finalists of “The Equestrian Show”, the finalist of Miss World 2024, and the members and supporters of Gi.A.DA. The event will kick off a fundraising campaign to purchase a new machine essential for women’s oncological therapies, as explained by the President of the association, Anna Maria Nalini:
“Participation in Fieracavalli is an opportunity for the association to share our goals with a wider audience. ‘GI.a.DA’ stands for Young Women, Adolescents, and Adult Women: united for our health. We have all faced difficulties, some more than others, but each of our experiences can help others. With this fundraising campaign, we aim to purchase a new machine that is essential for patients undergoing oncological treatments. We tell the stories of women who have faced illnesses—breast cancer, gynecological issues, or other diseases—and who find courage through sharing their experiences, helping each other to ask for help and overcome difficulties together. These are strong women, determined to succeed, and that’s why we wanted to include a representative from the daughters of those who are no longer here: girls who have witnessed the pain of maternal illness and faced it with great resilience. These emotions give us the strength to keep moving forward, to believe in our mission, and to help every woman rediscover her own courage.”
