This morning, the carriages of Paradriving arrived at Area A, completing the 105 km journey from Modena to Verona. Now in its sixth edition, the event is organized by AUT AUT Modena APS in collaboration with Azienda Agricola Villa Forni and I’M POSSIBLE a.s.d.
Clemente Forni, the event organizer, shared his thoughts:
*”This year, I was particularly struck by the work done by the volunteers. Many joined the initiative to help the young people with disabilities, making the experience unforgettable for everyone involved.
The more I travel, the more I meet people, and the more I understand the interaction between people with and without disabilities, realizing how often this difference is subtle. Each of us has our own vulnerabilities, and the carriage journey helps express these fragilities, often reversing the roles.
Visible disability becomes almost a form of care: it invites us to recognize and share our difficulties. It is through interacting with them that we find the inspiration to reflect on our lives and accept our own vulnerabilities. The journey thus becomes an extraordinary opportunity to unite all weaknesses into a great value made of friendship, sharing, and joy, symbolized by the smile that represents our journey.”
