The 126th edition of Fieracavalli confirms its role as a partner and supporter of the Carla Guglielmi Award, the scholarship made every year by the Fevoss Santa Toscana Foundation to students who chose the topic of horse-assisted therapy for their degree and/or doctoral theses.
Now in its seventh edition, the Award aims to involve all students who have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree, a Research Doctorate or a University Master’s Degree with a thesis on the topic of “Young People and Horses: the value of horse-assisted therapy with vulnerable youngsters” discussed between 2021 and 30 September 2024.
The dissertations must deal specifically with the topic of young people and related problems, with a focus on how horse-assisted therapy may not only be a valid support in situations of psycho-physical difficulty but also a positive stimulus as youngsters grow up.
A commission made up of teachers, doctors, veterinarians and experts – once the entry period is closed – will select the most deserving work and award the winner a prize of €1,500 presented precisely during the 126th Fieracavalli scheduled in Verona 7-10 November.
In addition, the winning thesis will be published in the series “Il nitrito che cura”.
All information about entering this event is available on the Fevoss foundation website.
