An entire space, that of Pavilion 11, is dedicated this year to the 360° well-being of the horse, raising awareness among both adults and children about the importance of an authentic synergy between humans and horses, based on communication and the enhancement of the horse’s physical and mental well-being.
Since 2019, the project has brought together trainers from the most important natural horsemanship schools and those specializing in horse language interpretation at Fieracavalli.
“There are three thematic rings, each different from the other, where we aim to give a comprehensive understanding of the work that can be done to reach the psychological and physical balance of the horse,” says Umberto.
“In the first, we have the best training schools in the field, united in showing how communication and understanding the animal’s behavior are the key to building an authentic and harmonious relationship with the horse. The Italian Group Ecole De Légèreté, founded by the French master Philippe Karl, the Italian Parelli Instructors Team with practical demonstrations by Master Instructor Franco Giani, the Classical Riding in Lightness school, and instructors Chiara Angelini and Fausto Sturaro.”
Ring B, on the other hand, is dedicated to integrated horsemanship, where we present children and young adults – including those with disabilities – performing liberty work, showing how horses can be a valuable help for everyone. The goal is not to showcase performances, but to demonstrate the authentic relationship between horse and rider and how these riders have, with time and passion, won their horses’ hearts.
Finally, in the last ring, there will be practical demonstrations by sector experts who work daily with horses to ensure their well-being: osteopaths and veterinarians using cutting-edge techniques for animal care and health, blacksmiths, and farriers with the most common methods for keeping the horse in optimal shape.
Join us at the Horse Friendly Arena of Fieracavalli every day from 09:00 to 19:35.
