“After years spent in Catania, the Coppa degli Assi returns home, and from November 30 to December 3, it promises thrilling challenges fought on the edge of thousandths of a second in the obstacle course of Parco della Favorita in Palermo, now restored to optimal conditions through interventions to consolidate the slopes of Monte Pellegrino. The event, a cornerstone in the equestrian sports calendar, has been organized by the Sicilian Region with the contribution of the Minister for Sport and Youth through the Department for Sport of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Municipality of Palermo.
Anticipating the historic Show Jumping competition will be the Internazionali di Sicilia and the Italian Champions Tour Master from November 24 to 26, the team competition promoted by Fieracavalli and the Sicilian Region. During the two weeks of the event, La Favorita will also host the 5th edition of the Mediterranean Horse Fair (click here to download the program).
In the obstacle course of Parco della Favorita, the “Rinascita Gala” will take place from November 24 to 26. The equestrian theater performances by Giuseppe Cimarosa, Maicol Mulè, and Galiya Khamatshina, along with ASD Spettacoli Equestri and Centro Ippico Cavallo e Natura, will be a genuine tribute to the rebirth of this place, Sicily, and, of course, the horse, the faithful and age-old companion of man
