The tension is already getting through to the 16 teams who, 27-28 October, will enter the competition ring at the Horses Riviera Resort at San Giovanni in Marignano for the fourth stage of the Italian Champions Tour – the first national show jumping team circuit this year celebrating its third edition, thanks once again to collaboration with Fieracavalli and the Sicily Region as main sponsor.
Two days full of excitement and adrenaline for all the riders taking part as they attempt to win as many points as possible with a view to the Grand Final in Verona, scheduled 9-12 November in the international context of Jumping Verona, the only Italian stage of the Longines FEI Show Jumping world CupTM.
Currently, the general ranking sees the Victor Handmade team – comprising Natale Chiaudani, Alberto Zorzi, Luca Inselivini and Federica Bindi – in the lead with 77 points. The Selleria Equipe is a close second with 69 points, followed by Givova with 66 and Crivelli with 63. Fifth place is currently held by EFG Italia with a score of 58 points, just a few points ahead of Goldspan and Team CO.GE both on 55 points.
