Verona renews its appointment with the top names in show jumping: the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup TM sees Fieracavalli celebrate the twentieth edition of the only Italian stage of this major event 5-8 November.
Top management at Veronafiere expressed huge satisfaction: “Confirmation by the International Equestrian Federation,” said CEO Giovanni Mantovani, “was a victory not only for Verona but for the entire equestrian world. Never before as this year will our city be not only be the capital of equestrianism but also the symbol of the restart for the entire sector. Special thanks go to the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports (FISE) and its President Marco di Paola who, through extraordinary team work together with Veronafiere and Eleonora Ottaviani, Director of the International Show Jumping Riders Club, made a crucial contribution towards achieving this important result.”
Once again this year, FISE lines up alongside Fieracavalli in efforts to investigate innovative proposals and a programme of competitions for amateurs and experts within the by-now consolidated ArenaFISE format, which over the years has achieved huge success and massive appreciation among all members.
The central role of the Veronese event in the international equestrian scene is increasingly strong, today even becoming the second stage of the FEI World Cup™ Indoor Circuit after the stop caused by the pandemic – thereby fact highlighting the restart for the entire sector.
Verona City Council is also focusing significantly on Fieracavalli for the post-emergency relaunch of the entire city: the partnership with Volkswagen and the involvement of several leading names in the sector such as Kask – Jumping Verona safety partner – , Selleria Equipe, Decathlon, Kep Italia and Amahorse confirm once again the event’s status of leadership even in business terms.
The 122nd Fieracavalli also becomes an opportunity to accelerate the digitization process of the event which thereby becomes an increasingly multichannel occasion thanks to direct streaming, demo videos that can be consulted “on demand”, talks and webinars designed with more than 200,000 users in the social community, enthusiasts and professionals in mind.
And to safeguard the health of operators and visitors, Fieracavalli has also updated and upgraded the strict safety and prevention measures already applied inside the Verona Exhibition Centre itself. Entrances, show halls and external areas in the exhibition centre have all been redesigned in the light of the new safe business protocol agreed and validated by institutions, health authorities and Aefi, the Italian Trade Fair Association.
